Yup, another truss rod thread :)

I can't seem to get my neck straight enough, I still have a bit of bow even if the truss rod nut is tightened all the way... So I'm thinking about replacing it. I have what looks like an aluminium one-way rod with the "links" threads, can I get the 2-way alloy rod to replace it? If not, which one should I buy?

This is for a 1987 Stage 2, by the way.

hi

afaik there is no replacement available.

the 2 way aloy looks similar but has a slightly larger diameter which would require some woodwork.

Your truss rod can be took out directly I think, my 90s thumb 5 had the truss rod replace without took off the fingerboard, it's a good news, mine 2 other Warwick are not that lucky....

Yeah, it is a replaceable rod, I've already had it out once to have a look at it :) I just have to find out which one I'll need from the Warwick store...

I have already anwsered your question

None will fit without woodwork
