Since so many of you here are from Europe, I thought I'd ask about good places to visit that aren't the traditional tourist traps. I'm arriving in August 07 and want to start planning my route. I realize I should have put the trip off a month for the whole anniversary celebration, but that's the only time I have off school.

You should definetley tak at trip to northern-Norway and Lofoten. It`s a tourist-magnet, yes, but still something you have to visit during life. I live nearby, in Bodø, so stop by for a snack. 8) ....or we could burn a church, or something, I don`t know...

After burning churches in Norway you go east into Sweden. Visit Stockholm and the archipelago outside Stockholm, watch some blond ladies dressed properly for the last hot days of the year (..... sorry, got carried away here for a moment) ..... and then we can overturn sleeping cows.

Before you go to sweden, you go to Tromsø! And you can visit the brewery thats most north in the world (thats very bad english, sorry :P ) And you can see the most north univerity aswell :P

....and talking about breweries:

AVOID: Oslo`s own "Ringnes". It sucks.

Bodø`s "Nordlandspils". It gives you a heavy hangover, tastes so-and-so...

Kristiandsand`s "CB". Even more sick, get from this you will. :)

GLADLY consume:

Tromsø`s "Mack. Best local beer in northern-Norway.

Drammens "AASS Beer" (yeah, it`s funny, I know)

Drammens "Lundetangen". The Sweet taste of Telemark.

A little off-topic...

That`s corrrrrrrect. Trivelig. 8) Håper du er fornøyd med kjøpet? (hope you`re happy with your purchase)

Yeah! I love it! ^^ Perfect sound for my bands! :D Looking to buy thumb now, though... Want a slaphand bass! :)

That`s great to hear!!
Yeah, the Thumb seems nasty, but to test a lefty....I`ve got to be lucky.

What`s cool, though, is that I found a lefty, cheap Coxx-bass a few days ago. 200$, the funkiest sound I`ve heard in a while, fender-copy, lightweight, J-bass, and a decent tobacco sunburst-finish. So now, my old Yamaha will become a fretless.

Lucky you... :P Hard to find any good second hand basses where I love, in a little town a couple of hours driving from tromsø!

Hehe, I fully understand.

This was a lucky shot, I just went to my local store and there it was. Unused and everything.
