Thought I would post this clip of bassist Tony Senatore who used a Warwick bass on this tune Compass. It was really cool to hear this bass in a jazz/fusion context. I think the bass and Tony's playing makes this tune!!

Dont let the name or shape of a bass fool you into thinking it's only good for one thing mate.The same woods & pickups used on jazz basses are used on "metal" basses.It's a bit like saying you cant play jazz if you have long hair.
