Time For Some New Strings!?

Even with the limited focus, I count 4 strings
and none of them look broken. Whatever the
coating is thaz wearing off, I doubt it's really
any problem. These strings are prolly barely
just broken in, just hitting their stride.​

 
Oh I have no plans of ordering another
pair anytime soon.

Even with the nanoweb coming off, they
still sound killer.

(Had'em on since September.)
 
thoise strings seem like they were layed using the back of a white colored cat!!!! ;) :D:D:D
 
try EMPs ;) and do not let Edward Scissorhands play your bass... nomatter how much easier it is to him to CUT through the mix!!! ;) :D:D:lol::lol::lol:

See tyler?.. I challenged Gonzo to try the EMPs and he did take the challenge. now he has them in all hsis basses even the Ibanez and the Ibanez is growling thanks to the EMPs
 
I'll have to pick up a set in a couple more
months... See how I like them vs. the Elixirs.

I was a die hard Rotosound round wound man for the better part of 20+ years. I stopped using them cause they really do a number on your finger tips.. after that I was just using the EB's cause they were cheap and didn't hurt as much... then the EMP challenge came to me.!!!

I'm super happy with them, they are still round wound but the coating on them doesn't let my fingers drag like the roto's did. its the same roto sound but a smoother feel.

its only been a month so I can comment on how long they will last. but they still sound the same as the day I put them on. I could not say that about the roto's or the EB's after a month. most times after a few weeks I'm putting the scotch brite pad on the strings to clean them up.
don't see a need for it yet with the EMP's...........

All my cats are okay, thank you for the concern though. I will say they have a clear preference for Warwick basses and gig bags though. So most of my bags kinda look like the furry coating on that string.

I guess he has his own DOog's looking cat that plays bass now ;)

ok, yes I can read, but I just want to be sure because I have been using Rotos as long as I can remember and Ive been playing almost 35 years and I can remember quite away back......

Anyway, you are saying that emp's sound just as bright as a brand new set of Rotos, and keep that super bright sound longer? I have tried lots of strings and have never found anything I like better than Rotosounds.

I plyed rotos myself man and yes I then discovered EMPS. they sound better thn Rotos to me and last way longer ( they are not harsh on your fingers like Rotos are) I dare you too to try em ;)
