Thumb NT5 'vs' P-Nut 2

Great video and nice playing!
Having owned a P-Nut III for a while, along with an SSII, and several Thumbs (none NT, though), my take is that the P-Nuts' humbucker setups throughout all three editions is what sets it apart.
When you compare a I, II, and III, the common denominator is that Musicman-style bite.
Not a bad thing at all. In fact, if Warwick didn't exist, a Stingray 5 would be my main bass.

To me, the thumb stays on top of everything
it's always sits right in the mix, most of the time you don't have to adept anything.
Balance was rolled a bit to the front.
The slap sound on that Pnut is just way to awsome! (sometimes I miss this on the Thumb)
It's that MM style pickup that does the trick, the balance was rolled a bit to the back pup.
On both basses the high's and low's were boosted.
Play the Pnut a lot lately, to really get used to the neck and the string spacing , it's wayyyyy different
