hello forum! im very happy to be part of this family . i just purchased a ‘90 thumb 4st nt. i am in love.

my question surrounds its electronics - it has a 2 band eq config. is this standard for this era?

Not necessarily, Warwick offered Seymour Duncan, EMG, and Bartolini pickups as well as MEC. MEC became more standard starting in late 1990. What is the letter before the serial number on the headstock? That will tell you what month in 1990.

Also - this instrument has s/s frets rather than brass….i imagine that was a refret somewhere down the line?

The 2-Band EQ is standard on Thumb in this era, if this answers your question
