Here's the situation:
Downstairs from my flat is a posh bar... outside of this bar like to congregate rather loud mouthed late 30 something women who are on the prowl for husband v1.0 / v2.0 or v3.0 before their looks go to pot.
When no men show up, these women sit on the terrace and make a LOT of noise. Equivalent to a plethora of witches cackling over their wicked brew.. at full, alcohol filled tilt...
So, you can imagine exactly how loud this is, drowning out the television in my flat on the 3rd floor.
As such, I turned off the television... Applied my guitar strap to my shoulder, plugged my Framus Renegade, on full, into an Orange Micro Dark (which is plugged into a Palmer 2x12), put some earplugs into my ears, and proceeded to crank the volume up on the Orange until the tone sounded correct through the earplugs (can't imagine what it was like on the outside!).
I proceeded to play my whole repertoire of AC/DC and Foo Fighters.
To make a long story short, the cackling witches moved on.
Life is good right now.... Cigar, Guitare, Kirsch and all !
