O.K., so we started the recordings of our first 5 songs (and an Intro). Our guitar guy does the mixing. I post 3 examples of one song: a live take, a rehearsal recording and the album version. Just tell honestly what you think about it, now we still have the chance to change something (although the guitar guy is down with his nerves atm a bit ).

(Warwick Streamer Stage 1 from 1986 over Ampeg SVT via XLR into mixer)

(Warwick Infy 4 LTD into Line 6 POD)

Sounds good,
- guitars a bit harsh to my taste,
- I like that the bass in the main recording is more prominent
- Both the Rounder Bass sound as well as the more grindy S1 tone fit, though the S1 did sit back in the mix too much

Note: I tend to like a bass that can clearly be heard through the mix and a nice solid tone on both guitar and bass, which may not fit with everyone's vision or music genre.

I like it!!.

Love the bass sound. At first the rehearsal track, the guitar could'nt keep up with the pace. but the recording is cool. I would lay the lead voice more into the mix, by using 2 tracks with the same wav, and panning them, with maybe a fraction of delay on one channel.

but great song, I like..... Good playin'!!. Ss1 rocks!

(so I Guess the 10 string is obsolete now? hehehe)

"Sorry! We can't find that track.
Did you try to access a private track, but were not logged in?
Maybe the track has been removed."
