 GAS! Of course. I get it all the time! Keeps me awake all night some times. Terrible thing GAS!
Thanks maddrakkett

I've wanted to buy a streamer stage I off ebay recently(maybe the one bigthumb73 bought? as it went for £500...well £502 i think) and a stage II went that went for £840. If i had the cash i would have got one of them porblby the stage II it was in amazing condition :(

i'm gonna go to London on Tuesdays to play basses all day to settle some of my GAS i've been having recently....

My wife hates it when I get GAS around her, because it can get expensive to cure, and then it just comes back again - often right away!

I just seen that bass yesterday and want it also - Chances are I won't have the cash to bid for it since I'll be on vacation next week

Er yes it was me, collected her this morning from London. To be honest with you shes ok. I need to do some work on her. A darn good clean, oil'in and a wax'in wouldn't go a miss and the input is a bit dodgy, might need replacing?
I went to the Gallery to get her checked out but the tech chap wasn't there so
i might see if i can get her checked out around here. I still think its a good buy tho :)

Here she is!

Haha that great that you got it, i was a bit concerned about the cleaning but wax is cheap and cleaning it is therapeutic right? No idea what the cost is on fixing an input jack though.

Man i was gonna try and borrow the money for the stage II i was in a feverish mmmm how can i get £800 in 12 hours. I couldn't work out how i could :(

If i had the cash i'd probably be buying this now....

That Bass went for £650! That seems a great price for an SS2. Looks fantastic as well, the neck is stunning. There's one happy dude somewhere!

No way! I was bidding on that one too! I started watching it in the morning when the price was around 300 quid - I figured at that price I could easily afford it, and have it shipped over to me ;)

Nice buy dude, thats a killer bass!

Hi Drexil thanks its a great bass but did you see the other SS1 that went for £500  These seem to be going for really good money. I thought they would sell for more and TBH i didn't expect to win it. Anyway how much would it cost to ship over there? Lots i would think!

Yes, I have GAS.

After many months drooling over pedals or other instruments only ( a keyboard, a mandoline, etc) I found myself watching this black Rockbass Idolmaker with eyes of desire... I can't blame myself, it looks amazing, innit?:D

I like it too. But it’s too thick imo, heavy, bad balance.

I've never seen or tried one...

Think Doctorbass has one in stock, but that's a 2+ hours drive from home to try a bass. Guess I should pay them a visit some day soon, haha.;)

Order one at Thomann, check it, send it back. This is how they run the distribution nowadays.
