I think I just went off in my holster!

All of these Special Edition $$ basses are just stellar! It was all I could do not to jump on The Tiger, but The Dragon series is gonna wreck me!

Thanks for the post, warwickend warrior...

Oh I love these blond Warwick basses soooo much..............

It does look a lot like the Hot Rod of course...............I love to hear the sound................. :D

I have an idea!

why dont a whole bunch of us decide on a bass design in the warwick custom shop and get them made! They could be a forum special :D

oh my god

..does anybody know how much could those bartolinis cost? i hate the clicking sound when i play a bit too hard and the strings touch the magnets..i'm looking for some covered MMs 8)

I had a similar thought yesterday. We all chuck in $50 & get a CS bass made. Then we austion it & give the money to charity.I know this is NEVER going to happen btw.

That bass looks beautiful. I love them maple monsters.

Well, problem is we all like different basses, Lex and Ian are streamer dudes, for instance, while I'm an 8-stringer maniac, some people like the necktroughs, some like bolts...

I think that when it comes to Warwicks, us fanboys (and girls, i know there are a few hiding around here....) are hard to please...

Whatever we create, it couldn't be nearly as monsterous as an HCBF special now would it?

The Bartolinis, as I recall, aren't too outrageous, considering how much value the name carries on the market. When we were designing it, Backline was really in to the idea of making each Dragon sound like it's name. The White Dragon is supposed to be the "Weeping Dragon", so in addition to the ash body/maple neck, I suggested Bartolini MMC's... I don't know if that's what they went with for the final version, though... but regardless; the White one turned out just beautifully!! It's killing me that I haven't heard how it SOUNDS yet, though... has anyone from the forum been lucky enough to get their hands on one?

...oh, and if you think the White Dragon is cool... just wait for the next one...

The guys at Backline are making my life full of GAS
