The Heads Up Thread

Are you guys serious about these cases? If so I think I have one in the attic!
Oh I was just being silly, I do that sometimes when I see one of the original orange cases. "Free bass included as gift" 😊 All joking aside, those are great cases. Small, pretty solid, orange, and OG Warwick. I currently have one, with my 85 JD, and I hope I never part ways with it... and the JD 😃

I have a German made Warwick 2009 $$ Streamer near me on Facebook Marketplace... Seems to be in good condition, asking about $1700aud (about 970euro if you convert it) ... Does that price seem right second hand? Around here in Australian dollars that seems pretty good compared to others. I have seen 2005 $$ Streamers go for $2400aud.

That sounds reasonable😉

Is 950 the average value of a Pro II now?

I have one that I'll sell if that is the price. ;)

That neck has issues! See the description.

Reminds me that I paid more than 1k€ for a new neck for my Streamer CT 8 string.

Warwick Streamer Stage 1 NT5! Rare color, only 4 kg (as the seller writes) and nicely priced!

Hi guys!
I don't know whether this is the right way of doing it, but here goes. I recently acquired a Nobby Meidel bass, nr. 751. I had always liked these very much, but it was more or less an accident that I stumbled across one. It's really in magnificent condition (two MINOR dings, which for a 40 year-old bass is quite something in itself). The tone ansolutely blew me away! What an amazing instrument. I thought I would never even consider parting ways with it, but karma being the way it is, two weeks later, I came across my favourite Warwick of all times; one that I never thought I'd manage to get hold of; a 2006 Limited Edition Thumb Dirty Blonde... I even found it locally, which is a minor miracle... So I bought that one as well 😅.
The live scene not being what it used to be, I feel that I can't really justify keeping both. I mostly do studio work these days, and the Nobby will have to go, as I can't get myself to part ways with the Thumb. Here's a link, in case any of you could be interested:

I’m not related with the seller, it’s a store in Barcelona. (It’s has a bunch of ’wicks in stock)

ULTRA RARE! 1986 Thumb with side LEDs!

I have one of these, they are the very first Warwicks with LEDs. Needs 3 batteries for this, the switch is on the back (built in the compartment cover) and the dots are big and a bit crude work. However - cult! Seller does ship. Perfect price for me, even an amp is included.
