The Heads Up Thread

And again it proves that there are no good offers out there anymore.
I wonder if people are actually buying those basses for this much money? Jeez...I remember like 10 years ago as a student I had enough cash but still was refraining from an "extra" bass purchase because I found it ridiculous. Something like an SS II 5 string finishing on eBay for 1.200 € (!!!!) Today I really think I missed the point to make that investment. This would have been well spent money.
Nowadays, I think somethin like 1.5 k€ would be a good base for a nice BO model like the Thumb or Streamer LX, with a few hundreds more for Ltd Edition or CS.

Then people sell 2010 corvettes for equally 1.5 k when they had a price tag of 1000 € brand new back then or want to have 3.000 € because it's a Limited Edition.

Talking about prices. Here is an John Entwistle owned Warwick Buzzard for 27k! =D

My XBass

More likely a 1992 LX, still a very very low offer.
Yes, considering the 2 piece bridge and the regular head, it can't be early or mid '80s. Maybe a typo or misunderstanding.
Still a good offer as you say. Even beats the 750 € I paid for my '93 Thumb NT 10 years ago xD

I once bought a 1986 Streamer for 160,- EUR...

Always cracks me up when Warwick is too lazy to actually put the wood type down on the official info sheet.

Body Wood: "Special Custom Wood"

Also,
My Flamin' Blonde LTD....
Body Wood: "Unbekannt" (unknown)

Not only the info sheet, but the long info sticker that was on the bag. Unbekannt.

"What the hell did we make? I don't know, should we check?...nah, ship it"...

Oh Warwick, we love ya

🤣🤣🤣
