I've a shoulder issue (not uncommon in guitar/bass players who play a lot over a long period... 44 years and counting), so weight matters.

I've had 2 of those. Nice tight tone but they tend to be close to 10lb (4.6kg) in weight.

My NT6 is 5.4kg. I have to play with correct posture with that one. Most heavy bass I have owned so far.
The Yama six string is only 4.8kg and is a lot larger then the Thumb is. I suspect Thumb NT contain concrete.
