I think that predates the stage 1/stage 2 designation and a standardized model of Streamer. If I was in Euro land, I would be watching that auction with keen interest. In fact, were it not for ebay annoying me to the point of closing my account after over 15 years, I would be watching and waiting for that last 5 seconds to pounce.
 
Is anyone planning on bidding on the early streamer posted above - ss2 inlays and ss1 pups?

Just declaring an interest and don't want to get into a bidding war!!
 
That is a sweet SS2 hybrid. Looks like an early custom shop inlay on the last fret. Guess we know why :)

Yeah do it ! Then we know where it is and you can send internatationly :) (seeing as though that auction is uk only)

So buy it ! (For me) ;)

Be interesting to hear how that sounds with the p type pickup,I'm not interested in bidding (I'm looking for a 5 thumb) good luck !

It's still for sale on Reverb. https://reverb.com/item/2534553-warwick-fortress-one-1996-german-made-5-string

So maybe your contact with ebay compelled them to cancel the auction. If so, pretty unusual, because ebay only cares about revenue. Reverb is a much better company from my experience, and will probably pull the auction if you let them know that the seller is using your images without permission.

Just spoke with Reverb, they will be suspending the auction/sales ad until the guy puts up his own pictures and comes up with an original text for his ad.

I hate people sometimes, but Reverb kicks ass!

Actually it's gone now. Seems the guy bought it to try and resell. He didn't do much research because there is like 20 USD of space left in the price. Hahah suck it!
 
Another paddle head streamer! This one from 84 and painted black.
I didn't realise there were so many of these early bad boys around.
 
This one has been around for a looooong while. it was wayyyyyy overpriced.
 
That's what I said. it WAS wayyy overpriced. Now it's just overpriced. :-)
