The Heads Up Thread

No matter what you say, I still think endorsers get their CS basses to sell them ( like in few days) and make money. The truth is out there.

Well, I'd like to meet one of those, have it commendite my dream Moby Dick Dolphin Bass and get it for half price. Instead of buying someone else's CS.
But hey, I'm just a cheapstake. :-)

Some do, as we've seen here. The majority don't. How many new CS basses built for endorsers/artists do you really see come up for sale?

Yes, I agree with shaftbass. You know what they say, few bad apples spoil the bunch.
We are discussing only bad apples here so it might seem worse than it actually is. :)

Congrats Chris! You're on a roll! Amazing deal for that CS....especially if you got more of a discount.

Another one saved from the bowels of Guitar Center ;)

I just bought this LOL. GC gave me a significant discount off the listed price. I offered much less than the asking price.

I do not like the custom 12th fret inlay, but I can cover it up with another black block that won't look too out of place. Sticker or removable vinyl or something. GREAT price for a new CS CV with those woods, finishes, and Nordstrand pickups and preamp. It also has a Hipshot Xtender which I would have installed anyway.

I was looking for a cool 4 string. I think I've found it.

I returned this bass less than 24 hours after receiving it. It just wasn't for me. I could not get it to feel good. I've had enough Warwicks that I know within a minute or so if one can be made to feel comfortable to me, and this one couldn't.

I'm so glad the neck is too thin. :-)

Better?
