Testing my camera (a.k.a. Butchering of Portrait of Tracy) :-)

Well, I finally got up the, uhm, courage, to play around with the video camera. I butchered a song in the process but I wanted to see how well this camera did at picking up the bass. It's not too bad but, then again, it's mostly harmonics...

Nice Cliff! You have a very Jacoish approach to your right-hand techniques. And I noticed you vibrate with your left hand like you were playing a fretless. Get a fretless man, you got the technique sorted out already Or have you had one, that'd definitely explain it

Thanks everyone. Olli, I did play fretless for a while (an old Ibanez Roadstar I pulled a "Jaco" on) hence the vibrato I use. Now that I've gotten this up and over my nervousness, I guess it's time to start tackling some "Can you do it" stuff.

Also, thanks for the kind words about not butchering it. I think I did but if you all like it I'm very happy. If no one gets to it before I do I"ll do "In Bloom" in the thread mentioned and will put up some of my old favourites I loved playing to way back when. I can get used to this video stuff hehehe

Thank you I'll post a video of that one more time when I am fully happy with it. I think my next one though will be Teen Town since I'm on a serious Jaco kick at the moment. Hell, I may do half of Heavy Weather and Jaco's first solo album just for the hell of it.
