This weekend i recorded for the first time with my Streamer Stage 2. I bought it used (1998, wenge) over the summer. I went straight into the mixing board by plugging into a Universal Audio preamp. Minimal compression, and all the GROWL in the world! It was so thick, yet smooth, and punchy! Did I mention growl??!!! I was so so so happy. Once the song gets done, I'll show it to you guys. It's modern hard rock btw, with some jazz. yes, i said rock and jazz.

sounds great, looking forward to hearing it

can we see any pics of your bass?

cheers

Good to hear all those good comments. I hope your bass will be there for you in many more recordings.

Yeah, the Stremer Stage 2 is probably something of the best you could get so I hope you will continue your love for her. I don´t own a Streamer right now but was very tempted when reading your post...

what the hell,an Infinity is proving impossible for me to get used so I might join you in Streamer country Mats.Hows the hand mate?No news was good news I hope.

Hi Greg, no I get confused when you mentioned the Infinity. I just neeeed to get my hands on a 2000Ltd so bye bye Streamer for now...
About the hand - it was a nasty surgery from mid upper arm over the elbow down the for arm. Nerve release, moved some muscles, drilled and screwed a bit and Voila! Not any better than before:cry: It might get better over time but noone knows how long it will take.
Still cannot button the upper button on the shirt or make a tie knot because I cannot bend the arm so much. The good thing is that I can play!!! And the coming weekend we arrange the European Bass Day in Krefelt, Germany and I am really looking forward to it.

Take care and let us know if you find anything worth investing in

Mats, theres a 2000 LTD Infinity 5 string for sale in the forum, you've seen it surely.Too pricey or after a 4?I want an Infinty 4,I might have to just get one new if it takes too long to find one used.
Glad to hear the surgery went ok mate, try not to have too much fun at bass day.

Hi Greg and thanks, I have tried to buy it but it wasn't for sale... He wanted to swap it with a 2000Ltd 4-string / mats
