Sweet 25.1 horn on-horn off no difference!

I got the Sweet 25.1 and I'm very satisfied with its sound, but the only thing that I really don't like is there is no difference on sound when the horn is on or off.
Does anybody else note this "problem"?
 
I guess you'll only hear it if it's maxed out when it's on and you play it at loud volumes. It's not a problem, and I think you need really picky ears to hear a big difference.
I'll check what I think when my 411 PRO arrives.
 
Try popping your G string with,then without the horn.You'll hear the difference.
 
Also - to double check to see if the horn is actually working, crank the treble knob so you get plenty of hiss, and switch the horn on and off.

You should hear a distinct difference.

Like they are saying... it's really noticeable when the volume and treble are up and when you're hitting some high notes....the horn gives it that pop. When I first got it I messed around with the horn to listen for the difference between on/off. I was definitely able to notice it :)
 
Yes, the difference should be noticeable, especially with new strings.
 
At last! The horn works and works great!
But how?
Well I removed the "W" metal front cover, unscrew the horn and I saw that on the horn there was a capacitor on the plus terminal. This capacitor is for protection. Then I disconnected the plus terminal and I connected again bypass the capacitor. Now the horn sounds great and I can hear the difference when the horn is on or off.
Ok I know that now there is a risk to blow the horn but doesn't matter.
Now my Sweet sounds different ans much better!
 
The capacitor is to cut frequencies that the horn cannot handle. Your horn is in danger now... I don't think it will last long.

I know that my horn is in danger, but now I can hear it! Before this horn was like not exist!
Anyway, do you suggest any other solution?
