Just sifting through the 'bay and saw this beauty up for auction, and its mint; why would someone sell this....must resist. Damn my lack of funds, time to re-mortgage again I suppose.







Oh, and I have no connection with the seller by the way, just needed to share this, someone buy it...and let me visit now and again :wink:

anyone knows if the spalted maple has same tonal qualities as the flame maple warwick uses?

also, how would the bubinga (if it is bubinga and not ovangkol) back would be affected by the maple top?
 
spalted maple is THE best top for me. Especially if it is a little darker... like this Conklin....

That's the first tim I've seen spalted maple on a Warwick apart from my own!
