What gauge strings come stock on a warwick RB Corvette 5 string and what should i look for when i buystrings. I always just bought rotosoundsswing66 med or GHS medium. I bought flat wounds once but wasn't a fan of the tone.

I just got the D'addario 2 pack for my 5 string RB Fortress, no idea what the gauges were but they worked fine.

Rockbasses come standard with Warwick red labels .45 to .135 on the 5ers.

Personally I think the Rotosounds are a great choice, but that's just me and possibly a hint of the old "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" adage.

Just a quick hi to everyone, my first post on the forum.

I use D'Addario Nickel XL's on my RB Fortress and it sounds just great, plenty of low end, midrange growl and clear highs. Tried DR, Fender, Rotosound but nothing does it for me as D'Addario. i keep the string sound fresh by putting strings for couple of hours in 100% alcohol every two months or so.It saves the money and works great.
