Ok this i need help one, i have a $$ and before i got i used to get pro steels for D'Addario, but now, i know i need something different, and basicly what i look for is like a nice warm, smooth jazz sound like....mmm i would have to say Marcus Miller, any idea how i could acheive this, with my 5 string Corvette $$, like different strings or different settings?

The Marcus Miller Fat Beams are great strings. I have used them on my $$ for a year...

yeah but will they fit on a five string $$, and do they realy have that sound he has, like do they help to achieve that better?

I do not associate "Marcus Miller" with "warm, smooth sound"...

the fat beams arent really "smooth and jazzy" if you want smooth and jazzy... i would suggest some nickel strings... i can get a very wide range of tones from my d'addario nickel wounds... and yet still an awesome slap tone :)
