Hey everyone, I got a question regarding my Streamer ProM.
According to the wiring diagram (attached below), the volume/balance pot is a push/pull and I tried it and its indeed a push/pull knob altho it seems that its wired so that the normal position is the 'pulled' mode.
My question is wether its possible to wire the 'push' position for a bypass on the preamp, and if it is, is it complicated or can I do it by myself?

Thanks,
Amit

I think yes, why not... Talk with an electronist, he will do it in 2 minutes.

Thanks Flo :), Can you(or someone else here) give me detailed instructions on this to make sure it's done properly? I might even do it with my dad.

I cannot give you detailed instructions, as I am not a professional... But I know from experience that a professional will "see it" without any drawings, it is easy for them.

It can be very intuitive. The pot has two stages one push, one pull. And you see what is linked to the "push section" and to the "pull section"

Aleeeeeeex?

I guess I'll ask an electronist or whatever they are called.
Are you sure it's possible? looking at the wiring, it looks like the pickups are wired straight to the bass/treble part and then to the volume/balance from there while on other models it looks like they are connected to the volume/balance and then from there to the EQ

P.S - thanks for all your help Florin :)

Also, is it possible instead to use it as a series/parallel switch?
Sorry for all these questions, I have no clue when it comes to electronics :P
