Streamer Stage 1 and Corvette LTD 2010

After a lot lot of search and testing instruments,i've ended up to these two..the Stage 1 and LTD '10...
To be honest i've played the Stage,but i can't find a way to play the Corvette(i've only heard it in Youtube).
Is there anyone who can tell which of these two is more "all around" instrument???
Or to say if something bothered him while playing one of these?!
It's pointless to say that any help would be very usefull to me and thank you all in advance!It's time to get my new bass at last!

Well, let me tell you the same reason I got here when asking about getting a Thumb BO 5 vs. Infinity SN 5: The LTD 2010 is a very unique bass, like all Warwicks it has a superb craftmanship quality and, it may be your only chance to have such a fine Corvette.

What happens if you don´t like it that much? I don´t see that as a big problem, because you could sell it and get a SS1. as you may know, SS1´s are kinda common basses, so you could find them new or used almost everywhere.

I have to admit that I´ve never tried a LTD 2010, but, as an owner of a ´wick with a TJ pickup I can assure you that any bass with a double TJ pup configuration should be the most versatil bass around.

I love the LTD,to be more specific it was love at first sight!
 
Don't see any LTD 2010 for sale anywhere, i wounder how many they made

I can only vouch for the LTD 2010 as that's the only one I've played.....
If you bought one you will certainly not be dissapointed. I've had a 2010 for about 10 months now and I still can't get the smile off my face. The quality of the craftsmanship on these (and any LTD edition I guess) is above and beyond the normal standards you get at Warwick, and lets face it, 'normal' Warwick craftsmanship is unbelievably high anyway! I got mine thru Thomann but it did take a while for them to source it.
If it ended up not being the bass for you, I doubt you would have much trouble moving it on.
 
I have just placed an order for one (through my local Warwick dealer), Warwick just emailed to say it would be 4 weeks. They are building one for me, i can only assume no stock in Europe and they haven't reached the 300 mark!

Can't wait... should be fun, bring on the funk!

Strange,cause they told me that they will not have them in stock again...
How much is the waiting time?4 weeks or i missed something here?!
 
I think the 2010 LTD was built specifically to be the ultimate 'all-round' bass. I think that twin Jazz double buck pickup scheme with single/parallel/single switching is the best pickup configuration that Warwick has ever had (I'd say that I'd like to see that more often, but that would be me trying to change the company :d).

While the SS1's tone can fit a lot of things, you can ape that tone due to pickup location (more accurate to the Stage II, but close enough) on the 2010 LTD, plus get the standard Jazz tones from the 60's and 70's, Musicman-esque tones, and an alternate humbucker tone if you solo the bridge-coil of the neck PU and the neck-coil of the bridge PU.

The only advantage the SS1 has IMO is the body style - if that 2010 LTD was a Streamer, we'd have the best bass ever made :D - whoops, trying to change the world again.

If I ever find a early 90s fretted Stage II for the price I paid for my fretless (i.e. Wenge neck, off-centre recessed strap lock for $1550), I'd totally hop on it and stick in TJs with S/P/S switches. Assuming I don't track down a Katana first ;)
