Streamer LX5 body size.

Hi all,

Not been here for a while, but seeing as i am picking up my first Streamer stage 1 5 on Saturday i was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a difference in body size to the bolt on LX5??

Sorry if this has an obvious answer or if it's been asked a million times before, but i also have my eye on an LX5. Don't really want to purchase it if the body is smaller than the NT Stage 1 5

yes - the body size (wideness) depends on the neck (broadneck has a wider body too)

so a regular lx5 will have the same body size as a Stage 2 5. A lx5 with broadneck will have the same as Stage 1

The soapbars on a lx5 are the indicators for broadneck:-)

Actually the BO bodies (streamer LX, streamer $$, Jazzman, etc) are bigger (well thicker) than the NT ones.
 
Thanks for the info guys, i finally picked up my Stage 1 5 last night, i must say its an absolute superb peice of kit!

Just setting up to my style of play as we speak, its a 2003 Natural oil, has a few little dings here and there and is a bit grubby. (not for long though).

Also, the previous owner had a mishap with the head and knocked off a corner section of the black head covering, he and glued it back on in a rather a slap happy manner. Might re-address that myself at a later date.

But as i said a great peice of kit :-) i now have my eye on a Stage 1 4, may have to sell one of Stingrays to fund it though.
 
Cheers Florin, oh, and it needs a new nut cause the tabs have broken off lol.
 
And those BO bodies (the $$ anyway) have the almighty belly-cut on the back.
