Played one in a shop some time back...tone is always subjective but it is sweet bass nevertheless, and workmanship was excellent
If you like the basic wood tone, it sould make a fine addition, plus the wood covers are pretty unique as well

Quality is top notch, as allways. Now, as it is a very unique bass (woods, electronics, looks) I think you should try it first if you have the chance.
