Streamer Bolt on from 1994

Hi there,

I could get a Streamer body and neck from 1994 for 300 euros - no pickps, pots, bridge, battery cover but with nut and tuners. Am thinking about giving it a shot and later on installing the required parts (EMG PJ, new bridge, etc). This would end up with 600 euros roughly.

Apart from the fun of setting up a new instrument, strippin the wax and giving the baby a new color ... what to you think: Too much of an investment? Does anybody know bolt on Streamers from before 96, when the LX line was invented?

I think it's a very good score. It won't be a cheap bass, but you can decide electronics, pick up brand, hardware yourself, so it's a bit of a CS bass!
