Streamer 5/Corvette 5 $$ Pickup Placement - help!

Hi guys

Can anyone help?

Just got a Streamer $$ 5....Im just wondering...the neck pickup is slightly lower (not as in deeper in, just closer to the top of the bass) in the pickup chamber, and the bridge pickup is slightly lower towards the bottom of the bass.

Therefore, the B string only just passes over the pole pieces on the neck pickup.

Is this normal?

Are the pickups meant to be in an identical position?

The B String position will not adjust anymore in the direction it needs to.

Well, I have a Corvette $$ 5er, and when I got mine the neck pup was lower than the bridge pup. But everything else was straight, there was no slants in the configuration.

Maybe it depends on how had the bass before you and set it up differently.
