Straps

I'm looking for a long strap for my bass. Currently I'm using BEAR straps (from England if i'm correct) but they are really hard to get. The ones I have are for my guitar and I wear my bass a little lower so they are to short.

All the regular straps available in the stores are to short, to flimsy, to fluffy or just plain ugly.
All I ask for is some really sturdy, plain black, thick leather and wide strap. I don't want any metal studs or stuff, just plain and simple and with a hole on either end

Does anyone have suggestions for other brands for me to look at?

i use a 4 inch levy strap, comfiest thing in the world

I was at the Messe and there really are a lot of nice straps available, like the ones from Get'm Get'm or Levy.

I also heard some guys who ordered custom made straps at leather shops. It can''t be that expensive...

i have a funky street-art strap....complete opposite to what it sounds like your looking for, but i think its cool! And its nice and wide, so it spreads the weight of the bass
