Strap!

I know this is very much a question of personal preference, but what would you recommend as a very comfortable strap that would place the bass high up? I'm looking at the "Comfort Strapp", does anyone have any experience with those?

I have a Comfort Strapp you can buy.

It came with my Streamer but it doesn't go low enough for me (I'm 6'2") make me an offer and it's yours.

Seems comfortable when I tried it

That's pretty damn long. The one I'm looking at is around 80 cm...
 
I have a really wide levys leather strap... Very comfortable... Luckily I got it for free when I got my thumb, Otherwise it would of cost $80! :shock:
 
I always fancy a nice leather strap, but when I have a long gig with my Warwick I mostly use my 'Blue Note' strap for comfort. It is a synthetic and padded one. It looks similar to the Comfort strap, but is 5" wide. Because it is more flexible than leather, I have a bit less contact with my bass, but feel no pressure points and no neck dive. So my neck and shoulder love it!
 
I just got a Neotech "Super Bass Strap." it's pretty boss. for only $20 i will no longer kill my back

I have a Comfort Strapp and i love it. i had a cheap strap before and it was garbage. i would recommend the the comfort strapp any day
 
I'm having to get my strap shortened up... I never found a strap that would go short enough for me. I'm about 5'8 or so and usually wear the bass up pretty high... So I'll have a custom levys strap sometime next week hopefully :P
 
I just switched straps tonight.. I got a frankling brown leather strap (extremly comfortable) it's 3in wide... Adjustable... until now, I removed the adjustable peice and directly attached the straplocks to the shoulder part... fits perfect now :)

and well worth the $35
 
Cool Choice thumbin! Franklin's are all I use anymore. I imagine there could be better straps out there but for the price, these are really nice and I found that they'll adjust to whatever height I want. I've had two of them for about three years now and all that's happened is the leather got softer and more comfortable to wear... So - they got my vote! ~M~
 
I use the warwick-strap available from their shop, works fine and makes me more "warwick-ish" :)

BTW: in what heights do you wear your basses? i prefer very high and can't even play when wearing low because my fingers aren't able to fret notes on the e and a string :lol:

Why doesnt she come with it!!?? Good God she is a fine peice of work.

You must be a bit taller than me :P I could'nt get the strap to adjust short enough for my liking... Had to remove the smaller adjustable leather peice and directly attach my straplock to the wider leather part. It works though :) looks alot better than my levys one too... and this has to be the most comfortable strap I've ever had...
