I finally decided to put on the strap locks for my Corvette $$ 2009 LTD and they don't fit. Its brand new ie no previous owner, I got it right from the dealer but yet the strap locks it came with can't go into the lock on the bass. Whats the best way of figuring out which ones do I need to order? I've never used strap locks before but figure might as well.

If you're absolutely sure those Warwick ones won't work (even when pushing the button before inserting), then I'd go and buy some Dunlop Dual Design straplocks:

I've not heard of many problems with the Warwick locks not fitting, but I have had recently some problems myself using Warwick fittings from different years. I suspect the manufacturing tolerances may not have been as consistent as they should. But I've been using Dunlops for a few years now without any issues at all.

Give em spot of lube. they might just be a little stiff.
hehe.
Seriously.

Haha!
Yep, maybe some lube would have helped get the strap-lock in the button. But that same lock slipped straight out of another button. (As did 2 or 3 other locks in a couple of other buttons). What's going to fix that?
