Stained natural vette $$

Hey guys,

Since a while now, my bass has a stain apparently by the sweat of my hand on a dirty day :((

The dirt was trapped by the waxing, and now I can't get it off.
Do you have any tips, or must I mourn over the uncleanable stain in my bass?
 
Lemon oil and one of those plastic "Scotch Brite" will do the trick.

But, I have noticed another stain :(
It's right between de pickups just were I rest my thumb. The spacing between de pickups in the vette$$ is too little, and I can't seem to clean it in a comfortable position.
Any suggestions?
 
So, does this work on a faded/stained natural bubinga 'vette as well?

Sure, remove the strings, then remove the pickups, or just one of them. Be careful, not to break any cable.

Is it natural oil finish? Then yes :-)
