Hi all,

I´m planning to become a member of Warwick owners. (not only an amp/cab)
So I prefer the thumb and now found near to my place someone who sells a Thumb BO 5 from 1996.
Before I go there and try out, I would like to hear some comments for this modell. Are there any specific Problem reagrding that production year or something like that?
I also wonder about the hardware. It has ovangkol body with wenge board and neck and chrome hardware instead of black. Is there a possible reason for that.

The last thing is the price. He sells it for 950 €, maybe a bit trade off. Would this be good price, if its in good condition?

Thank you all for your opinions!

Just an FYI, and maybe someone more knowledgeable can chime in, but often if the hardware is chrome, then the body is actually walnut. Granted, anyone can change hardware colour, but I bet this is one of the early Thumb BOs with the walnut body.

Also, Thumbs over the years have had varying pickup angles, not sure if this applies here.

Killer model!

as an indicator - I sold a similar fretless for 900 Eur last year

I'd say if you want exactly that model - 950 is cool

If you can wait because other models are nice as well - 800-850 is cooler:-)
