Speaker cable gauge

Well, my WCA115 PRO is on the way, and soon it will be time to connect it to the RebelHead (that's what RH stands for in the RH 450 TC Electronic).
Since I coulndn't find a decent Neutriked speaker cable, I ordered the Neutrik Speakons to make the cable myself.
So, I have some tenths of meters of 2x1,5mm speaker cable at home.
Is it OK to use it? Or should I go for a thicker cable?
If I'm not clear, please ask...

lol this already sounds like way more hassle than its worth! Why didn't you just buy a regular speakon cable?

Just couldn't find one here in the CERRADO (Brazilian Outback).\
In fact, I found one so poorly made, I decided I could do better.

Well I am not gonna lie to you... cables are very important. So there is no limit here. You can spend a lot of money on cables and every time will be better cables than yours.

A thicker cable is normally better.


But you can use yours, and see if you are happy with the sound, leave it this way

Thanks, Flo! This Cable I have here is kinda "Studio Quality", and it isn't cheap. Let's see what happens...

TC wanted to name their head Rebelhead, but another maker already had that name. So now it's just RH.
