Some question for my new "old" Dolphin Pro 1 5 string

I just received the email from the Dolphin seller, he may asked Warwick about this bass earlier, and he passed me the email what Warwick reply.

I am not sure if those pickups are bartolini but I think the wood of the body should be "BOIRE", I could be wrong...

The answer I really would like to know is the push/pull of the tre/bass, this BN bass doesn't get JT PUs, what is the function of the push/pull on the tre/bass knob??

There are 2 blue adjustment pots in the preamp, what are they?? one of them should be the output adjustment, but I tried to screw them, the sounds is the same.....???

That isolates one coil of the humbucker pickup, if I'm not mistaken...

I have a 91 Dolphin, I asked the same question once I think, but I came to the conclusion that it did absolutely nothing. Maybe if you had installed it a certain way, you could split the coils of the dualcoil, but mine didn't.
Body should be Boiree, at least mine is.

Boire & bubinga are virtually the same. They're both African rosewoods.
This is a very early Dolphin & the electronics look like a prototype coz it's mounted on a project type circuit board. Once the design has been perfected, the circuit board becomes a regular printed type. The extra pushpull pot might be in anticipation of the humbucker which came along later. I dont think these Bart pickups can be split, but dont quote me on that.
Try checking both of those trimpots & see if one works for each pickup.

Thats a real beauty.... its a broad-neck right? maybe as it was an early model they made it with the same special string spacing as the 4string?

It's a early model, I saw 3 maybe, there are 2 in this Forum, 20MM string space.

The push/pull on the tre/bass has not split coil on my bass, my pickups is not dualcoil, they are early MEC I think..
when I pull the knob, it does sound different but not much..maybe it is just a prototype, I can't fine dualcoil PUs in Taiwan which can be spilt....
