I guess they know it would break backs if a standing position was attempted.

New Warwick line of basses:

"The Sofa Series"

Just noticed it's got flushmount strap locks according to the spec sheet :)

But where?

If you look close at the other pic, you can just see a little shiny bit from each mount. They're there. The pic you just posted looks like every other custom shop Wick at that stage.

The main finishing guy that we've all seen a million times (I should know his name...guy with a shaved head), is the one who drills the holes, during the time he's putting in the electronics etc. Looks like this pic is just before the holes are drilled.

Here it is :)

Nice one! Although, can't understand why the "racing strinps" don't run 'till the edges, that looks weird, IMO.

That is a real beauty! The only changes that I think would improve it would be ebony fb, tuning keys, & t.r. cover, and to reverse the headstock fade so it goes from red to black at the top.

Check this cool video, it's Juan Alderete playing what seems to be the first Hellborg prototype bass. Well, this has a J pup instead of the "soapbar" pup found in the production model, and its body is SOLID, Juan says it weights 30 pounds... LOL:D
