what did you use for recording? Or did you plug the bass right into the line-in of your PC?

I use my bass (o rly?), plugged into my Line 6 Pod GX, the Pod being plugged with a USB cable into the PC and, finally, I use Guitar Rig to record myself, without any effect at all.
