Yep! I think the HP has an effect on it too. I have a see thru black HP Ibanez and it looks purple in certain lightings.

the Streamer is definetly Nirvana Black it does have a little of brown but not as light as the tobacco ones. There was a member with a Tobacco Vette $$ that was awesome. I saw the pic here and I think it was on the "show us your bass" thread if I am not mistaken.

I remember taking that pic of the antique tobacco Streamer S1 at the Aussie W 25th anniversary.

**edit.The Vampyre is a LTD in honey violin.I suspect the pic is making it look more like antique tobacco. :idea:
