Ill tell you what... that bass was the best feeling bass ever. It handles the most subtle articulations with ease... and was so easy to play that it really just made me fall in love. Ive yet to play a fodera tho...

As for sound, its very much like foderas, but brighter. And let me tel you... it has an amazing growl too!

I had an Fbass BN5 for a long time..

I wish I never got rid of it. They are frankly the most versitile bass I have seen: individual coil taps per pup, single coil tap and a very sharp EQ make it a virual tone swiss army knife.

I love the single coil sound that mine had (Ash/maple).

George knows what he is doing.

OTOH, it sounds alot like an MTD to me, just a little more crunchy (he has it in single coil mode).... I love it.

I think Id buy in F-Bass if I was in a funky band like Jamiroquai or an R&B group... they sound so good...

Good call Doc. That's probably the first time I've heard the F bass. Sounds a lot like a Jerzy I got to play once. I dig those well made basses with the wild, high end electronics. I wish I could justify buying one but for me bass is still just for fun.
