Is the blonde one a bit shorter on the upper horn, or is it the light?

And how is the Pro Series Thumb compared to the others? I might look at one in the future.

So am I! However, starting out on violin many many years ago, I was forced to learn playing the wrong way, and it just kinda stuck...

No, I think it is the same as the other BO (the PS). The other two are NTs, and have longer horns (and shorter bodies).

I like it very much, actually! I think you get a lot of bass for a relatively small amount of money (I got mine on blowout from Thomann some months back, it is the now discontinued Korean version). An interesting thing about the PS is that I think it balances a little better than the others, perhaps due to the light neck wood.

Yeah, it's that one, good price! But have you seen this one? Pretty good price for you, lefty and all!

Balance between PS 4 and 5 strings, I don't know, I have only tried the 5 string PS Thumb.
 
Yes, you do have a problem : it's messy, they're all different from one another.
How can you stand to look at those ? :-)
 
No D-tuner, but well spotted, it doesn't look quite right because it isn't right! The previous owner had, for some reason, replaced the E string tuner with a tuner belonging to the treble side of the headstock. Don't worry, it is all fixed now :)

Not that it's a problem since there's tirekickers only anyway...
 
Right after I buy a bass the next day I'm looking again. Even though I like it I'm always looking as its exciting and addictive. I need to save some cash
 
The main difference to drugs is that you can have a lot of fun with a Wick but you can resell it afterwards. So in my opinion GAS is no problem as long as you are able to let them go one day.

For me THIS is the real struggle. :lol:
