Blasphemy! How could anyone do that to Geddy? Not to mention what they are doing to Neil and Alex. This is true sacrilege!!! I am so deeply offended by this there are no words that can trully express the way I feel. I could live with what they did to Clapton and possibly even Jaco, but they go tooo far when they defile Geddy Lee and Rush. Crucifiction is the only punishment that I believe that is suitable to fit this vile and disgusting sin.

ok so excuse the ignorance, but wat does shredding actually mean? I watched these videos and still have no idea
 
Basically, solos, a display of technical ability, but not a term as derogatory as 'showing off' or 'w***ing', more of a compliment. Which is turned on its head in the videos obviously.

Umm,I'm not sure if you realise this Pedro,but all these are a series of piss take videos,where the audio has been over dubbed by some extremely sloppy playing.First one I saw was a Jaco video,& being Jaco,I thought maybe it was genuine & he'd had a particularly bad day.They were known to happen;)I felt like a complete knob when it was pointed out to me the truth,I can tell ya.
Shredding is a slang musical term assosiated with fast & precise guitar playing.Like Iron Maiden,or Metallica for example :)

ahhh...I like the concept of the dual strap-on knuckle-picks...you could really shred with those!
