gotta ask for more pics. want too see more of the body....
the only thing i don't like are the dot-inlays but still i'm getting more interested each minute
would be a great backup for my thumb so as for tracks with low tunes :o

Herb, you could get those dot markers replaced with... RED LEDS! =D
Anyone else than me think that would look awesome? All in moderation, ofcourse ;)

well actually i'm not a big fan of any led oder inlays on the fret except the stageII (dunno why it just match...) led maybe on the side....
but who knows what will happen in future... first in all i try to get the bass for a good price (even than i will be brokeXD)!

Well herb,

are you a Thumb man or not ?? Streamers are great basses too. And remember, dot inlays on a Thumb is a feature of Vintage Thumbs. 8)

I can feel some GAS brewing for that bad boy! Go for it, man. It's a real beauty.

I'd never pass a bass for fret markers. And well, TWO vintage thumbs?!?

well friday is bidding end! hope nobody is that horny like me

The front of that headstock looks like it's countersunk around the pegs....is this what the front of the vintage carved headstock thumbs look like?

I'd just like to see a pic of the back of the head, especially the area where it meets the neck. We've seen a few older Warwicks (without the volute) that have cracked there. I'm betting it's from a fall or something, my 93 Fortress has no crack, I'm sure your 89 Thumb is crackless, so it's not something that just happens. But with the older Wicks that is the weakest area, be nice to see what that bass looks like there before plonking the bills down.
