Hiyall,

My Fortress Flashback is on sale now and I just wanted to check the exact datas about the bass, but the search engine couldn't find anything. Any idea?
Here's the number by the way:
M-055548-98
Thanks!

L

Iirc the serial number checker doesn't go back further then 2000
M is December(I think) and 98 is 1998

Hi Laci, and welcome to the forum!

So, as Verb told us the bass was made in December 1998
If you post some pictures we can tell you more about the bass :-)
Cheers,
Flo

nice bass. I have only seen these basses with the tek bridge also. custom maybe???

I knew it, that's why I asked for a picture :-)
This is one of the last made, with slight changes in specs.
- 2 piece bridge instead of 2TEK bridge
- chrome hardware instead of satin
- IIRC the original one had ultralight tuners as well.

It is basically the same instrument, and it is looking great :-)
Where are you located, mate, maybe I take it from your hands!

Good luck selling it, mate!

Oh my god, what a beast. Beautiful. How much for it?

+1 for the ultarlites on the original.

I remember hearing that these basses were all 16+lbs, so I'm sure the 2-piece bridge helped a lot, instead of that heavy old 2TEK bridge.

I've seen both. It was brand new when I bought it and came with this bridge.

it's not custom, it came with this bridge when i bought it and was brand new

sorry dude, i'm situated in Bristol,England
=)

The pickups have some wear on them (as do all the Flashbacks), and there are a few small scratches at the bottom otherwise it's in a good condition and sounds just awesome. The Flashback is the rarest of this series.
I will include the straplocks that come built into the bass, and the strap if you'd like and the case. It comes with brand new strings as well.

How much should I expect this bass to be worth of £, €, $ ?
=)
