searching for preamp

Hi, ive taken my warwick thumb bo 4str. to the shop over a month ago and nobody seems to be able to find the onboard preamp replacement for that model. Instead of having them stall me for a couple more months id rather get ahold of it myself. If anyone has any info as to where i can find this i would really appreciate it.

Hey Florin..do you know what type of circuit board goes in the FNA JAzzman? i just bought the Limited issue one today used (with bad board)

Hey man,welcome.
Both the 2002 & 2004 FNA Jazzman LTD's have an active MEC 3 band eq.
Which model did you get?

hey greg..thanks..I just bought the FNA Jazzman ltd..(signed headstock)
it has four pots. Serial # 23/200..bad circuit board.

I was looking at the board..appears to be a job for a pro.it would be nice if the new board would install easy..but,I believe it must be soldered..

It might be best taking it to a tech if you're not comfortable soldering then.

thanks for the quick response, is there a place where i can get just the preamp board?
 
I dont think so.They come with all the components soldered on.
 
We used to sell them Greg, just the board without the pots. It is not on the "Shop" anymore, but I guess a dealer/ distributor can bring one. However, as far as I remember, they price is not much smaller...
 
Oh right.I thought he meant the bare circuit board,without any components soldered on.my bad.
 
LOOOL ! :-) And the winter is coming to Australia slowly :-)
