SD pickups, string width ...help

Do you have a sticker underneath your Pickups? My say "AJB-5" Are they remarkable smaller than the pickup housing? Do you run them on 9 or 18V?

I think i remember seeing that b/f I installed them. The neck pu is a little smaller than the housing but I knew that before hand based on what it says on the SD site. I am using an 18v Aguilar OBP-3 setup. The G string has always been somewhat weaker , even with the stock pu's so maybe its something peculiar to this bass? It doesn't really sound too much weaker unplugged, FYI. I'm not really sure too many people are using the SD combination with Aguilar so I guess it could be some problem there. My tech is really good and made it work. It sounds pretty good except weaker response from the G string. The B seems pretty much ok.

SD AJB 5 String doesn't work on my Thumb 5, the field is not enough or doesn't match the my Thumb 5 string space, it costs me alot to but the whole set and go back to EMG..........don't worst time on the AJB-5


I used to a 5's SD PU passive on my Thumb 5, no problem like this ....but it sounds tiny with MEC passive circuit...
