i dont know if any you have ever fancied the jack bruse cream reunion bass but been put off by the mad price tag but check out the bass centre



you can save 1400 GBP. they've put it down to 2000GBP instead of 3400 GBP...dont know how long this is going to last for

I'm betting it's going to last a while. It still is a lot of money, and you can buy a SSII, Dolphin, Infinity NT or Thumb NT as well (approximatley same price I think). It's a good deal...................but you really have got to dig the bass and Jack Bruce to buy it.............I think it's a very very small market who would buy this bass; no doubt it's great sounding, but definitely not my cup of tea. :wink:
 
I love the look of Wal's and that one is no exception.. Pity im practically going to have to wait till I go to London next year till I can get my grubby hands on one hah.

I think that version of Jack's bass would of sold a bit better if Jack actually played it on their last reunion tour - every video and picture I saw, it was sitting on a stand.. plus the fact that it costs as much as it does - it retails at 9300AUD, thats practically a small new car - its just an insane price for an insanely nice bass.

There's no way you could convince me a bass is worth that much...
 
I saw one in manhatten. Looks great, I bet the pickups don't sound that great though.
 
the pickups were huge :D it was a seriously nice bass though. not sure if it is quite worth the price though...
 
Ive played a few expensive basses.. Lex's White Bass (which has a ridiculous price tag), his 6string Fretless, Thumb NT's, Yamaha Nathan East's Signature Bass & a few Pedulla's.
All nice basses but I just cant justify that price tag.. plus none of them had that true Pickup and play mojo for me personally. The only one in that price range thats given it to me has been a Stage 1 5string and im still considering it but I agree that its a ridiculous amount of cash to spend on an instrument.
