Today I received an EBS Bass IQ pedal from a third party (Martin Ollsen)that is a friend of Samuel's.Samuel arranged for Martin to send me the pedal, vouching for my honesty, without me even paying for it yet.Samuel wanted to make certain that the pedal made it to me before payment. In fact,I suspect that Samuel actually has already paid Martin for the pedal himself. The price was the absolute cheapest I could've ever hope to have paid & the pedal is in great condition,& works perfectly.
This is possibly one of the more unconventional transactions I've ever been a part of,but it speaks volumes about the trust, friendship & cameraderie there is amongst the core group of long term forum members.I never doubted for a second, that this sale would be anything but hassle free, provided the pedal wasnt lost in transit, which I know from working in the postal industry,is an everyday occurance.
Anyway,to cut a long & pleasant story short,I'd reccomend Samuel's honesty & reliability to anyone considering buying from,or selling to him.
I'm off to make some funky bow chikka bow bow sounds with my new pedal.:d
