Same old story

Imho it is the sound guy's responsibility/job to create a good PA (overall) sound... Therefore I think that we, as bass players, should always follow his advices/instructions and just concentrate on our playing...
But one new question occured to me when I read this thread: To what extent do weather-conditions, like rain or wind, influence the sound at outdoor festivals ?
