Not to my taste, but what an amazing work!

Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys might not realize it... But we've got the best guy in the industry (hands down!) working for us, and Sebastian (head of our lacquering department) is getting you the sweetest and finest finishes existing ready for you, and even inventing new ones JUST FOR YOU.

He's the guy responsible for chrome tone, and he just happened to have this idea about a rusty finish. So he did it, and seriously, it kicks asses, big time. You might not fully appreciate it, because you only have the pictures, but hell yeah, that is one STUNNING finish. This stuff is real oxydized iron over wood, which mean you can tack your grocery shopping list on your bass with a magnet.

HOW COOL IS THAT?

Who needs "road worn" finish, when you could get rusty finish. ;)

Alexandre: How does it feels when you touch it?

LOVE IT! but i hope is has like a satin finish over the rust, it looks like touching it would put your teeth on edge.

Side note, why isn't Oli from Rammstein playing this? it would suit their look perfecly.

How does it feel?

Well, there is a very thin layer of satin finish to seal the finish, but it does feel like a rusty piece of steel, although surface is relatively flat... But it does not feel "cold", though. And it looks a hundred times greater than in picture.

I'd advise people to check if their tetanus vaccination is up to date before touching it, though. :-)

Have I mentionned the bronze finish, too?

PICS!!!!! please......

:-)

I'll see what I can do. Just imagine like a thick bronze-casted polished finish, with lots of variations, and a nice high gloss coat.

But I'm afraid that'll be too shiny to take pictures :-)

I am imagining it, and in my head i have a dolphin that looks like a battle ax from the bronze age....the thought make me want to sell a kidney to get one.

Okay, I think I might like the Rusty finish better than the Bronze.
