Ronaldo & His £80m contract

Good riddance. Thing is, Madrid will probably make a bundle on his back. It's not the first time they've gone along that route (Zidane, Beckham, Figo), so it must pay off. It's amazing they can spend that much, and get it back so easily on advertising and TV rights.

I am happy to see that cheating scum-bag leave the English league.

Cheating scumbag? What did he do?
I have to say I don't like this player's style, popular as it may be. He runs around too much.

+1

He's a faker. He's a good player, but he fakes too much and I hate his attitude. And although I'm french, I consider the Premiere League as the best league in the world, I LOVE english football... I support Chelsea myself (nobody's perfect ) and I'd love to see games in an english stadium... Might be awesome.

All i can say is .... wellcome mr. Ronaldo;) you´ll come to the best team of the world of all times!!

HALA MADRID!!!!

:d
cheers

Do you know why Barca STILL will win the liga next year? Because they have an identity that Real lacks. They are brought up from young ages with Barcas concept of football.

Barca has also had a foundation of players to build the team around for many years, which Real hasn't and won't have because they just trade around players like a fish market. Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta, Eto'o, Valdés, Messi and Marquez has been the foundation which the team is built upon.

No doubt that both Kaka and Ronaldo are great players who will lift the team, and they will gice Barca a challenge - BUT Real won't get anywhere if they keep switching too many playes/coaches and ideas.

I completely agree, still, I'd like to see those two play together in Europe.

I agree about club strategies too. A big part of their move is purely commercial, which I think is a shame. I prefer Arsenal's way over Chelsea's way for example, even though Arsenal should really focus more on local talents (like West Ham seems to be doing).

I don't know if that will work on the pitch (the Galacticos had mixed successes), still for purely a spectacle point of view, both are world class footballers, with different attacking strengths.

Barcelona seems to have the right balance, and the edge at the moment.

Two years ago, barça was the same team of now and they was lose with real. Madrid always be there, this shield have power, Barça never will have that. The history is the history.
Madrid: 31 league, Barça:19
Madrid: 9 europe cups, Barça: 3
they never reach us.

Hala Madrid!!!!
greetings from Spain

So who's gonna replace Ronaldo in MU??? Lyon's Benzema ? (By the way I had Benzema's uncle as a client today hehe...)

let the war begin!

Benzema, hey...

Not sure how good he is, I'm out of touch with French football. I know Ribery is very good, quick and works very hard, so, great for Man U, but he doesn't want the job.

Valencia looks like a good target for Man Utd. He is no Ronaldo though, but he has qualities that could shine with a great team to play in.

I'm no football/soccer fan in the least. But one thing even I've noticed is this.English players dont throw themselves on the ground & writhe in agony when a butterfly flaps it's wings within 100 miles of the game like most other countries teams do.
There,I said it.

That's an old cliché...

Scholes, Owen, Beckham, ...

they are all guilty once in a while. Not in the same league as Drogba or Ronaldo though.

As much as I love english football and such, and the fact that there are some real gentlemen still out there, most of the characters are just wining, overpaid brats.
