Rockbass Issues

Hello, I have just recieved my Rockbass Double Buck through UPS. Overall everything is looking good. But two of the volume knobs are a little loose or wiggly and the truss rod cover is not center on the headstock. Should I really worry about these minor issues and get it replaced or should I just stick with the one I received?
 
The truss rod cover is something only you can decide... is it only slightly off, or is it WAY off? A pic would be helpful on that one.

The volume knobs should be an easy fix. Just pull them off - they should be a simple press fit over a spline on the Rockbass (just check on your bass for a grub screw in the side of the knob first - if their is one, you'll have to loosen it with either a small allen key (maybe 1.5mm) or a small flat blade screwdriver). Once you have the knobs off, just check that the nut holding the pots in place are tight... you can nip them up with a shifter gently (be careful not to scratch your bass) if they are loose.

If those nuts are tight, and it's only the knobs that are loose their are two possibilities:

1: If they have grub screws (I'm not sure about the Rockbass $$ - on the Corvette basic they're a press fit over a spline), just tighten the grub screws.

2: If they are a press fit over a spline, then you can insert a flat bladed screw driver carefully into the head of each spline where there is a slot, and you can bend it a little to widen it. This will make the knobs fit nice and tight. Don't overdo it, or you'll have trouble getting the knobs on and off when you want to.

Ok the truss rod cover is only off center by about a quarter of an inch. And the knobs themselves are not loose. It is the post that come out of the pots that the knob attaches to that is loose a little.
 
The post is loose in the pot itself, or the pot is loose in the hole? Is the pot nut done up tight?

If it's only a little loose, and the pot works fine otherwise I'd just play and enjoy it. If the pot is really dodgy it's a cheap and easy fix - I don't think you need to replace the bass.

Bump! Wondering how 5stringdriver ended up with this issue.

I'm also experiencing loose pots on my '09 Rockbass Corvette $$ 5er, and it's not an issue with the knob itself or the nut holding them in place. Could it just be that coil splitting pots are cheaper? The tone knob is nice and tight like it should be, but both volume knobs are easy to bump out of place.

Would some grease help them "stick?"
 
I recently played a 2012 Rockbass Corvette $$ at Sam Ash, the push/pull volume pots were nice and tight. Wondering if it's something Warwick noticed in the revamped RB line and made better?
 
im not saying anything............ in fear of all the guys here who sell these and think they are awesome. Oops!

Welcome to the forum, brother!
I am not sure I understand what the problem is, but I know one thing. The dealer who sells you the bass should sell you a perfect instrument... PLease call them and explain the issues, and they should make it right!
